ADRP 2024: Know Before You Go

We're looking forward to seeing you at the Hilton Minneapolis for the 20th Annual ADRP International Conference! Please see below for your Know Before You Go details. If you are a presenter, sponsor/exhibitor, or Blair Scholar, you will have received (or will be receiving) an email from the ADRP Office containing specific information. If you have not received this email, please contact our office by emailing [email protected].

Welcome Party
Join us for the Welcome Party to kick off your conference experience. This is an excellent time to meet people you will be sharing time with over the next three days and to greet old friends. Come have a drink (with a free ticket), enjoy hors d’oeuvres, play some games, and hear from our partner Visit Indy, who will share some exciting things to do in the city during your visit. We’ll kick it off at 5:00 PM at Conner’s restaurant located in the hotel.

Packing Advice

In September, the average high temperature in Indianapolis is around 75-80°F (24-27°C), while the average low drops to about 55-60°F (13-16°C). You can expect mild, comfortable days, but cooler evenings and mornings.

Dress Code

This dress code for the event is business casual. If you tend to get cold, you may want to bring a jacket or a sweater, as the rooms in the conference hotels may be chilly. Consider dressing in layers to help you stay comfortable whether you are inside or outside.

Tuesday is Spirit Day!
We like nothing more than showing our team spirit in Indiana. Tuesday will be Spirit Day at the conference! Represent with your team colors (and enjoy a more casual day) – your alma mater, current employer, cherished professional team, treasured cause, or just your favorite color.

ADRP 2024 Service Project - Foster Success

Did you know... there are nearly 18,000 young people in foster care in Indiana alone? This year ADRP is partnering with Foster Success, an organization whose goal is to support these individuals into adulthood.

Foster Success is the only nonprofit organization in Indiana that supports teens and young adults transitioning out of the state’s foster care system. Their mission is to hear, support, and empower these teens and young adults to achieve self-sufficiency.

At the 2024 ADRP International Conference, attendees (you!) will have the opportunity to support the mission of Foster Success as the recipient of this year's service project.

The app will be your best tool for navigating the conference. If you haven't already downloaded it, you can do so through both the Apple and Android app stores by searching "ADRP Conference."

After downloading the app, you will have the conference schedule, speaker information, attendee list, session materials, sponsor and exhibitor information, and much more right at your fingertips. You will be able to create your schedule inside the App by selecting the sessions you wish to attend. Session selections made during the pre-registration process were for room assignment planning purposes only.
